The Story Behind Meowella

Meowella was born from a decade of gold — and a decision to build something that was truly ours.

My name is Kiavash, and together with my wife Nirvana, I am the founder of Meowella. Before this brand existed, I spent six years running a full-scale 18K gold manufacturing factory, where I learned every corner of the craft — from raw material to finished piece. I understood metallurgy, production, and what separates jewellery that lasts from jewellery that doesn't. But something was missing: the ability to put our own vision, our own name, and our own standards into every piece.

So we made a decision. We left the factory behind, moved to Dubai, and built Meowella from the ground up.

Made From Start to Finish — By Us

Every Meowella piece is made entirely in our atelier, from the very first idea to the moment it leaves our hands. There is no outsourcing, no shortcuts, and no mystery about where your jewellery comes from.

The process begins with a concept — a sketch on paper, a shape we've been thinking about, a silhouette that feels right. From there, Kiavash builds a precise 3D design, which is then used to print the mould directly with our 3D printer. The mould goes into casting, where Kiavash melts the gold, pours it, and breaks open the plaster to reveal the raw piece inside. He then refines and polishes each piece by hand until the surface is exactly what it should be. Nirvana takes care of assembly and packaging — making sure every order that leaves our atelier feels considered, personal, and ready to give.

We also work with clients on fully customised pieces, designing and crafting jewellery made specifically for them — for proposals, anniversaries, or simply because they had an idea that didn't exist yet.

Where We're Going

Meowella is a young brand with a clear direction. We are building toward becoming a worldwide minimal jewellery label — one where every piece is still made the same way it is today: by hand, with intention, in solid gold that lasts a lifetime. We are not interested in growing fast. We are interested in growing right.
